These are some of the props I made for my Below Deck environment. All of these props were modeled in Maya and textured in Substance Painter. Trim Sheets combined with decals were used for the texturing of all of the crates in the environment, this proved to be extremely efficient in production and especially in the texturing work. I was able "construct" all of the crates with the trim sheet quickly in Maya and stamp on decals in the prefabs within UE4.

The main environment will be posted next week, I'm just working on some finishing touches for the framing and composition so stay tuned! About a week after that I'll be posting a breakdown post explaining my process for production as well as my workflow for the decals and trim sheets.

I had the amazing opportunity to be mentored by Ayi Sanchez throughout this project. His critique, advice and guidance was invaluable. Thank you again, Ayi, for mentoring me all this time, its been quite a journey! https://www.artstation.com/kratos

Enjoy!
